Stephen Nowland is a professional  cinematographer, photographer and producer with more than 20 years of experience. He previously worked as Director of Digital Media at Emory University where he directed a team of four creatives producing the priority visual communications for the enterprise. He is currently Creative Services Lead at The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

He's also worked with the creative agency Clarkson Creative (team photographers for the Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, NCAA) and the non-profit Earth Vision Institute as a cinematographer, editor, documentary film producer and project manager. 

​

Editorial clients have included Getty Images, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times and ESPN The Magazine. He's worked on projects for the NCAA, Turner Broadcasting, Donor Alliance, Trout Unlimited, Habitat for Humanity, MS Can Do and the City of Denver.  

 

His documentary work has appeared in two films, both screened at multiple film festivals nationwide, including Telluride Mountain Film. He lives in Atlanta, GA.
