For over 20 years, Stephen Nowland has been a working professional cinematographer, director, producer and photographer. He's worked with creative firms Clarkson Creative (team photographers for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, Denver International Airport) and the non-profit Earth Vision Institute as a cinematographer, editor, producer and project manager. He is currently Director of Digital Media at Emory, where he leads a team of four creatives producing visual communications for an enterprise of over 32,000 working in advanced research, medicine and education.


In addition, Steve has covered editorial assignments for Getty Images, Sports Illustrated, the New York Times and ESPN The Magazine. He's worked on projects for the NCAA, Turner Broadcasting, Donor Alliance, Trout Unlimited, Habitat for Humanity, MS Can Do and the City of Denver.


His documentary work from has appeared in two films, both screened at multiple film festivals nationwide, including Telluride Mountain Film. He lives in Atlanta, GA.
